BRIEF
The brief was to introduce and explore the concept of affordance through purposely bad design. Although with strong emphasise on physical objects the medium wasn't specified under the condition of upholding the "anti-affordance" as a focal point.

PROCESS
During the research portion of the process, it became quite transparent that affordance as a concept although simple might seem ambiguous to many. Relying on a single artefact to conduct its meaning left to much room for this obscurity to undermind the aim of this project contributing to the decision of creating a series of artefacts instead. The interaction between a person and the object was another essential decision that shaped the form and nature of this brief into a performance.

OUTCOME
"Megger" is a film presenting the concept of "anti-affordance". People interacting with malfunctioning objects in clinically sterile space put the concept in focus and isolates it from any form of potential distraction. The background music is a sonic representation of losing memory - the repetitive track although follows a distinctive melody is chaotic and oddly distant. It echoes the passive relation the participants have with artefacts lacking their proper affordance emphasising the lack of meaning anti-affordance marks the design with
