BRIEF
This project was created as a response to an open call for creatives issued by University of the Arts London towards the end of 2017. Students from across the college were asked to explore the concept of belonging and community through group discussion, research and workshops lasting three weeks.

PROCESS
Collaborating with other students, I realised my understanding of belonging differ from the majority of my peers. I did not relate to often emphasise qualities of geographic location, nationality or architectural structures such as childhood home. Personally, I have always found people to be a crucial incentive evoking any sense of belonging. I aimed at making human interactions, or sometimes the lack of those, to be the focal point of my project strongly pointing at its significance to belonging.

OUTCOME
The outcome was a short film presenting a seemingly random portion of quite an odd routine. The focal point of every scene lays on three individuals embracing the unfolding events with ease and comfort. The transgression of their habits over social conventions isn't bothering them since it's only reinforcing their sense of belonging to each other. The film was screened at the UAL exhibition in January 2018.
