CONTEXT
This section is dedicated to my final year dissertation, as well as its design aspect. Although different in process and outcome, they present a cohesive entity that complete one another. The design element is a platform for presenting the written thesis and enforcing its ideas.

WRITING
The thesis discusses the benefits of an interdisciplinary approach in art and design fields supported by the analyses of Jonathan Zawada work "Touchingly Unfeeling". The dissertation highlights the multitude and diversity of semiotic signs that such practise offers and points at rising interests from the creative industry towards it.

DESIGN
The still-life composition is a direct reference to Renaissance ( where the interdisciplinary practice was flourishing and its most prominent silhouettes such as Leonardo da Vinci, wildly acknowledged ). Gathered artefacts are a representation of different disciplines this method of work brings together, in order to present the most articulated visual form. The text of the thesis was screened on the TV at a slow, continuous pace and the entire process recorded. It's also a reference to the TV screens used by Zawada in his piece "Touchingly Unfeeling" analysed in the dissertation.
